CENTENARY SQ Competition

The RIBA Centenary Square competition took place in 2014 for the redesign of Birmingham’s Centenary Square. The brief sought to breathe new live into the square in the city’s West Center and borders the new Library of Birmingham and the refurbished Repertory Theatre. Our design put emphasis on the Birmingham’s history and the canals that crisscross the city, while aiming to balance covered and open areas and providing spaces to stop and linger.
